I stole this from several other blogs I follow...
but with all the anticipation and talk in Adoption-land about referrals moving...
And with my renewed anticipation after Saturday's LOVELY gathering with past-present-future adoptive families...
I have decided to do my own poll.
I mean, technically we are smack-dab in the window.
And we are prayerfully optimistic, that it will be sooner rather than later!!!
The winner of the poll? Will get her (or his, I suppose..though I have never had a dude post on my blog before) choice of any of the items created and sold for our Journey of Love fundraiser!!

- Boy or Girl
- Age at referral (Remember, we just up'd our age range to include up to 4 years old)
- Date you think we'll get a referral
- And (for fun) the name you think we will (or should) give our child (in addition to keeping Little Smith's Ethiopian name, of course)
Once we actually get our referral, After the screaming, sobbing, calling my mom and then everyone I have known since elementary school, jumping up and down with excitement, and shouting from the rooftops).....

Here's my guess: Boy, 3.3 yrs old referred on April 20th. I won't even guess on the name because it's a personal dilemma I have as well :)
Wow Randee!! 3.3 years old?? I never even considered giving decimals on polls haha!!
We have prayed about and settled on a couple names for both genders. We are waiting til we meet him/her to announce and finally decide =)) It's just fun to see what others would think!
OK- I guessed with the decimal for a good reason! I am guessing a tiny bit older than 3 (for reasons you already know) and a boy (for reasons you helped influence) and the date that I did based on recent info from Anyra and a total guesstimate. It WILL be fun to find out the real info soon!

I'm guessing a boy on April 15, at age 2.5, and named either Seth or Luther.
Well, it looks like Jeremiah and I were both wrong so far! I have a new guess (but you don't have to consider it official for the poll) to a boy, 3.3 yrs old referred on May 10th.
